Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer has always wanted to become a multi-tasking celeb. She was an avid fan of diverse music styles when she was a child, and particularly Afro-Caribbean music styles like salsa, merengue and the bachata. When she was an adult, her favorite genres were popular pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Though she was passionate about films, it was the world of music that attracted her. Her most significant influence came from the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Aside from being a budding professional entertainer Jennifer was also a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years in a Catholic primary school known as Holy Family, located on The Bronx, before graduating at an all-girls pre-school, Preston High School after a four-year stay. Jennifer performed well in the sports department at school and participated in tennis as well as the track and field. Her home in the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her home for most of her time. After turning 18, Jennifer moved out of her parents' home. During this time, Lopez worked at a law firm and took dancing gigs at night.
